Running Saps Maple
Our sugar house is located at our home on the property of Sleepy Hollow Ski & Bike Center in Huntington, Vermont. We started producing maple syrup in 2009 and have learned and grown a little each year. We are an active family who love spending time outdoors exploring our forest. Sugaring is a way for us to get to know and appreciate the land where we live. And maple syrup is delicious!
If you live near, please stop by, if you live afar, we are happy to send syrup by mail. You can find us at:

We are the source of syrup at Sleepy Hollow Inn and local events like the Sleepy Hollow Mtn race.
Our family simply loves learning, playing, and working in the forest. Our syrup is a tasty byproduct.
Ask about custom bottling for a wonderful wedding favor and gift for all your special occasions.
What does it mean to be an organic maple producer?
We often get asked “isn’t all maple syrup organic?” In thinking about what it means to be an organic certified maple producer, it’s important to think more systemically about how our operation interacts with the forest as a whole – the wildlife that calls that forest home, the soil beneath the trees, the ground water and streams that run through the forest. Organic certification is a commitment to a sustainable forestry plan. Our sugarbush is an ecosystem rich with diverse species, age and structure of plants. At its core, supporting organic certified maple production is supporting the health of our forests.
Additionally, organic maple producers refrain from the use of pesticides, use all organic products in the cleaning of equipment, and ensure that every step of production is as safe and sustainable as possible.
